DESCRIPTION: APW - Aurora, Grade 113, 15J, 18S, heavy 14K multicolor gold HC recase with magnificent equestrian detail to rear of two horses' heads having inset diamonds at their eyes, this scene framed within a rose gold diamond border with cabochon rubies at its corners which is itself framed by a multicolor floral wreath, front with rose gold shield having surrounding multicolor floral detail, framed with in a rose gold diamond border which is itself framed by a multicolor floral wreath, gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, rose gilt mvt screws and regulator assembly, s#74884. Gross weight of assembled watch 88.1 dwt (137.1 g). A spectacular multicolor equestrian case with very impressive in-hand presence.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches with the most notable being a fine scratch at right side of barrel bridge; dial with scattered hairlines including an outer chapter cluster between 2 and 4 and an outer chapter cluster between 10 and 11, edge chip at setting lever area, edge chip near 10; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, no exterior dents or dings, cuvette with prominent ding at left side, cuvette with few depressions to allow space for gemstone culets, excellent engraving detail, case rear with a bit of play at its hinge; tight bow, crown shows medium wear with ridge break; good glass crystal.
